During Operation

Starting the Machine

1. Ensure that the battery pack is installed in the machine; refer to Installing the Battery Pack.
2. Insert the electric-start button into the electric starter switch (1). Figure 11.
3. Squeeze the blade-control bar (2) and hold it to the handle. Figure 11.
4. Press the electric-start button and keep it pressed until the motor starts (3). Figure 11.
