Ozone characteristics
Ozone (03) are the allotropes of 02, a blue gas with a specific and characteristic odor. The molecular
weight is 48 g/mol. Its density is 2,14 kg/m³, which is 6 times greater than that of air. Ozone can
rapidly sterilize and purify harmful substances, bacteria and viruses present in the air or water. Ozone
is recognized as a natural disinfectant.
