Specific safety instructions
• Anti-fall measures on the edge of the roof with slopes of 0-10°.
• The appropriate anti-fall measures must be put in place if the potential fall height is
more than 3 m.
• Anti-fall measures for short term works lasting less than two working days. The
instructions given above must be observed for longer-term works.

• Break-through hazard: Always pay attention to areas of roof that are not proof
against break-through e.g. roof windows, tarpaulins etc. These areas must be
appropriately delineated or protected with catwalks.
• When working on roofs the whole of the danger area on the ground must be made
secure and properly marked. Ensure that
third parties are not at risk of being struck by
falling objects.
