Fixing the track
1 Drive the power pack up and down the stairs to
ensure that it will not encounter any unforeseen
obstacles (Figure 51).
Note: Look for any other potential obstacles
such as window ledges or exposed pipework
that could obstruct the movement of the lift at
this stage. If there are any other obstacles
move the track away from the wall until the
rear edge of the power pack can travel freely
past them.
