LCDI SAFETY PLUG

CAUTION: DUE TO THE POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARDS, THE USE OF AN ADAPTER PLUG IS
STRONGLY DISCOURAGED.
For additional safety, your appliance is supplied with a Leakage-Current Detection and
Interruption (LCDI) safety plug. Before using your appliance, follow the instruction listed below to
ensure that the LCDI plug is functioning properly:
•
Plug the LCDI plug into a grounded power outlet.
•
Press the TEST button on the back of the LCDI plug. This should trip the plug and cut the
power to the appliance. You should not be able to operate your appliance.
•
Press RESET button to start using your appliance.
The LCDI plug should be tested periodically by pressing the 'TEST' button the 'RESET' button. If the
'TEST' button does not cause LCDI plug to trip, or if the 'RESET' button will not remain engaged,
unplug the appliance immediately and contact the manufacturer.
