5. Evacuate air from the Hug-U-Vac® until it becomes semi-rigid and the internal
beads no longer move freely, then close the valve (this is done to prevent the
beads from redistributing when patient is moved onto the positioner).
6. Fit the disposable slipcover onto the Hug-U-Vac® following the disposable
instructions.
7. Transfer the patient onto the positioner, watch to ensure positioner doesn't get
pinched between stretcher and OR table
