ADJUSTING WATER TEMPERATURE
Turn on water so that cold water is as cold as it will get and hot water is as hot
as it will get. Remove the Rotational Limit Stop from the valve by sliding it off the
stem. Place handle back on stem and rotate fully counterclockwise to the
hottest position. Place a thermometer in a plastic tumbler and hold in the water
stream. If the water temperature is above 120°F, the Rotational Limit Stop must
be rotated counterclockwise to decrease temperature. Reinstall the stop by slid-
ing it back on to the stem before reinstalling the handle.
MAKE SURE COLD WATER FLOWS FROM THE VALVE FIRST.
MAKE SURE WATER (AT THE HOTTEST FLOW) DOES NOT EXCEED THE TEMPERATURE
LIMIT ALLOWED BY YOUR PLUMBING CODES (120°F OR 110°F).
AJUSTAR LA TEMPERATURA DEL AGUA
Abre la llave del agua, de modo que el agua fría salga lo más fría posible y la
caliente lo más caliente posible.Extrae el tope del giro de la válvula de la base,
deslizándolo por el vástago hacia afuera.Coloca la llave en la base y rótala
completamente hacia la izquierda hasta la posición de agua más
caliente.Inserta un termómetro en un vaso plástico y coloca el vaso debajo del
chorro de agua.Si la temperatura sobrepasa los 120°, el tope de giro debe
rotarse contrario a las manecillas del reloj para bajar la temperatura.Para
volver a colocar el tope, deslízalo hacia la base antes de colocar la manija.
CERCIÓRATE DE QUE EL AGUA FRÍA SALE PRIMERO POR LA VÁLVULA.
NO PERMITAS QUE EL AGUA (EN SU PUNTO MÁS CALIENTE) EXCEDA LA TEMPERATU-
RA LÍMITE PERMITIDA POR TUS CÓDIGOS DE PLOMERÍA (120°F ó 110°F).
RÉGLAGE DE LA TEMPÉRATURE DE L'EAU
Ouvrez l'alimentation en eau à ses températures minimale et maximale. Retirez
le limitateur de rotation du robinet en le glissant le long de la tige. Replacez
la poignée sur la tige et tournez-la dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une
montre jusqu'à la température maximale. Placez un thermomètre dans un gob-
elet en plastique et tenez-le sous le jet d'eau. Si la température de l'eau est
supérieure à 49 °C, tournez le limiteur de rotation dans le sens contraire des
aiguilles d'une montre pour réduire la température. Replacez le limitateur en
le glissant sur la tige avant de réinstaller la poignée.
ASSUREZ-VOUS QUE C'EST D'ABORD DE L'EAU FROIDE QUI COULE ET QUE. LA
TEMPÉRATURE DE L'EAU NE DÉPASSE PAS LA LIMITE PERMISE PAR LES CODES DE
PLOMBERIE (49 OU 43 °C).
