06 Using the Pause function
1. When the cooking zones are on, press and hold the Timer / Pause key
displays will show "=" and the zones will stop heating.
2. Touch the Timer / Pause key again for three seconds, the displays will blink with "=", then touch the Child
Lock to recommence cooking and the displays will revert to their previous settings.
07 Using the Child Lock
The Control Panel can be locked to prevent accidental use, and when selected all controls are disabled
except for the Master On/Off Key
The hob can also be locked during cooking but if the Master On/Off key
stopped. Note that when the hob is turned back on, the Child Lock will still be operative.
Switching the Child Lock on
You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use by children. When the controls are locked, all the
controls except the OFF control are disabled.
To lock the controls
Touch and hold the Child Lock key

To unlock the controls
Touch and hold the Child Lock key
If the hob is locked and switches off automatically, turn the hob back on first with the Master On / Off key
and then unlock as above,
WARNING: When the hob is in the lock mode, all the controls are disabled
except OFF which can still be used in an emergency.

08 Controlling the cooker hood remotely
The process for connecting the hood to the hob happens in three stages:
A) Configure the hob to transmit a radio frequency signal.
B) Configure the hood to receive this signal.
C) Lock the connectivity between the two appliances and complete the pairing process.
09 Controlling the cooker hood from your hob
1. Make sure that the hob and hood are switched off.
2. After around ten seconds, turn on the hood, press the Timer icon
control panel. The LED display will flash.
3. Turn on the hob and make sure the connectivity indicator is lit.
