AWT-100 & AWT-100X TUBE CLEANERS
WET OPERATION
1.
Connect minimum 1/2" (12.7mm) I.D. air supply line [minimum 60 PSI (4.1 BAR)].
Make sure air line is clean.
AWT-100: Uses the brass disconnect supplied with unit.
AWT-100X: Connect air line directly to barb fitting on machine using a hose
clamp. Avoid fittings that reduce air flow.
Maximum air pressure – 100 PSI (7 BAR)

Connect the water supply hose. Make sure hose is clean.
AWT-100: Uses the green disconnect supplied with unit.
AWT-100X: Connect to hose fitting on the front of the unit.
Maximum water temperature – 1200F (490C)

Air supply should be filtered and lubricated. Use detergent 10W automotive oil or
air tool oil. Adjust to one drop per 2-3 minutes.
AWT-100: Filter/lubricator must be mounted securely to a
vertical surface.
AWT-100X: Supplied with integral lubricator. Filter must
be added.

Connect flexible shaft. Insert square end into drive shaft and tighten large nut. Make
sure O-Ring is in place.
5.
Connect cleaning tool to other end of shaft.
6.
Turn on air and water supply.
7.
Completely uncoil flexible shaft.
8.
Step on foot pedal to start shaft rotation and water flow.
9.
Clean first tube and position shaft stop so half of the cleaning tool extends out of the
far end of the tube. Adjust air pressure/flow for proper speed/torque.
IMPORTANT: Input air pressure must exceed input water pressure for water pilot valve
to operate.
