Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in this instruction
manual may be carried out; all other works must be
performed by an official distributor.
Only use accessories, oils or greases authorized by VITO.
Not doing so may result in personal injuries or damages to
the scarifier. In case of doubt, you should contact an official
distributor.
For safety reasons, the fuel conductive components (fuel
hoses, tank, tank cap and couplings) should be checked
regularly for damage and leaks. If necessary, they should
be replaced by an official distributor.
Keep warning and information stickers always clean and
legible.
Keep all nuts and bolts well tightened to ensure a safe
operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance
tasks,
immediately.
Never store the scarifier with petrol in the tank inside a
building. Petrol vapours may come into contact with flames
or sparks and ignite.
Store the scarifier in a dry area with the fuel tank empty and
the fuel in a well-ventilated compartment.

Clean the equipment thoroughly before storage, especially
in winter. Keep the device in a good operating condition.

Your scarifier should only be serviced by the manufacturer's

replacing any necessary parts with original parts sourced
directly from the manufacturer.

Avoid places
Lift the handle and align the holes, then place the bolts and
knobs. Put the recoil starter on the right side of the handle,
fixing the cord with plastic cable clamp.
Insert the recoil starter cord into the holder.
The handle has two height adjustment positions: "L" or "H".
The "H" hole is the highest position of the handle, and the
"L" hole is the lowest position.
• Lift the rear discharge cover (10) and fit the grass bag.
