Jumpstart must be fullly charged to jumpstart an engine.
If your vehicle's battery is too weak to start your car you can use the Jumpstart System to start it.
Make sure that the vehicle's accessories are all turned off (lights, AC, heater, radio, etc).
For maximum power, make sure all switches on the Jumpstart System are turned off, including the
Rotary Switch on the side of the unit. Securely connect the red positive (+) booster clamp to the
corresponding positive (+) terminal of your vehicle's battery. Then securely connect the black
negative (-) booster clamp to a grounding point such as the metal of the vehicle frame, as far
away from the battery as possible. DO NOT connect in to the negative battery terminal.
Turn the Rotary Switch to the "ON" position. Start your vehicle. Once the vehicle has started,
4
turn the Rotary Switch to "OFF", disconnect the black negative clamp first and then the red
positive clamp.
NOTE: If your vehicle does not start within 10 seconds, allow the Jumpstart System internal
battery to cool for 3 minutes before attempting to start the vehicle again.
Do not attempt to operate 12 volt accessories from the Jumpstart System while you are trying to
jumpstart your vehicle.

The 12 volt power outlet will operate most 12 volt accessories with a draw of 10 amps of less.
When fully charged the Jumpstart System will supply power to a 10 amp accessory for
approximately one hour, a six amp accessory for approximately two hours and a four amp
accessory for approximately three hours.
Make sure the 12 volt Power Outlet Switch is in the "OFF" position. Remove the protective cover
from the 12 Volt Power Outlet and plug in your 12 volt accessory.Turn the power switch to the
"ON" position.
NOTE:The 12 volt Power Outlet is protected by an internal circuit breaker that prevents damage
to the unit in case of short circuit or overdraw current. If circuit breaker is tripped, turn power
switch off and disconnect 12 volt accessory. Allow to sit for 30-40 minutes to automatically reset
circuit breaker. Have 12 volt accessory checked for possible defect before reusing.
