HOW TO USE
There are five main steps to replacing a hard disk drive in your PS4™ console.
1. Back up your data.
2. Download the firmware.
3. Replace the hard disk drive.
4. Reinstall the system software.
5. Restore data that has been backed up.

Important: before installing the Steelplay® Hard Disk Drive on your PS4™ system, please ensure to back up all
your files such as game, app and saved data in order to be able to transfer them to your new hard disk drive.

Note: Data not backed up prior to new installation will be lost. Do not turn off the PS4™ system while backing
up or restoring data as the system may be damaged. When restoring data, all current settings and information
saved on the PS4™ system will be deleted. This operation cannot be undone, even if it is canceled during the
restore operation, so make sure to not delete any important data by mistake. Deleted data cannot be restored.
