5. INSTALLATION.
Installation of the equipment must be carried out only by
authorized and qualified persons.
Before carrying out any maintenance, repair or manipulation
of any of the equipment connections, the device must be
disconnected from any power source, both the equipment power
supply and the measurement.
The equipment must be installed downstream of the
general protections of the installation.
The equipment is installed in a distribution panel on a DIN rail
46277.
The following cables have to be used to connect the equipment
(the units make reference to the cable area):
Voltage measurements and PS --> 1.5mm2 (0.45/0.75kV
minimum rated voltage)
Current transformers → 1 mm

Dry contacts → ≤ 1.5 mm
ˆ
RS-485 COM → ≤ 1.5 mm
ˆ
Dig Input → ≤ 1.5 mm

The cables used for the connections must be crimped with
terminals.
5.1. CURRENT TRANSFORMERS.
It's strongly recommended to use the current transformers
delivered by SALICRU.
If another current transformers are going to be used, SALICRU has
to be informed. Anyway, SALICRU will not be held responsible of
any malfunction when not offical current transformers are used.
