1. Connect the cable from the rod to the cap (Fig. 1 and 2).
2. Stow the excess cable inside the rod and attach it to the cap (Fig. 3).

Make sure that there are no uneven areas under the solar panel to avoid damaging it.
3. Press the rod against the cap until the two parts are firmly attached (Fig. 3).
4. Select a location where you want to position the device. Follow tips in section 8.1.
N OTICE
The device must not be placed directly into the molehill.
5. Loosen up the soil at the desired location and push the rod into the soil. Ensure that the rod
protrudes 1-2 cm above the ground to protect the device from water damage caused by water
accumulation on the ground (Fig. 4).

Do not apply excessive force or use any tools to push the device into the ground
to avoid damaging the device.

Please check the ground condition before use. Frozen, irrigated or soaked with water
earth is unsuitable. The denser the earth, the better the device works. Best results are
achieved if VOSS.sonic MoleEx 1000 is installed near a molehill. However, as the rod cannot
simply be pressed into solid earth, we recommend loosening the earth beforehand with
a spade/garden shovel and pressing it firmly again after insertion.

Leave the VOSS.sonic MoleEx 1000 in continuous operation. It can take up to 2 weeks
before results become visible.
8.1 TIPS FOR CORRECT POSITIONING AND USE
∙
Try to avoid obstacles so that the sound waves can travel unhindered. If you have a large floor
area infested by rodents, we recommend that you set up several units at a distance of 20-30
metres from each other.
∙
When placing the units, take care not to „catch" the mole with the sound waves. For example,
do not place the units in all 4 corners of the property.
∙
Drive the mole away from the house in the direction of the property boundary. To do this, place
the mole repeller in front of the first molehill near the house wall.
∙
Move the device approximately every 2 to 3 weeks towards the boundary of the property. The
molehills should continue to move in this direction.
9 CLEANING

Do not use aggressive solvents/cleaning agents, brushes, sharp objects or
similar for cleaning. These can damage the surface.

Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. There is a risk of a short circuit.
If the device is very dirty, clean it with a damp cloth. Regularly check the solar panel for dirt and
remove it with a damp cloth if necessary.
