• Do not pump any liquids other than water.
• The maximum water temperature must not exceed +35°C in continuous operation.
• Weather conditions can affect performance and service life. Unnecessary wear can occur
during cold spells, particularly hot weather and through exposure to sunlight. Remove the
water clarifier in frosty conditions.
• The water clarifier must be positioned away from the water. There must be a minimum distance
of 2 m between the water clarifier and water. This filter cannot be used under water.
• The water clarifier must be installed horizontally to prevent air getting trapped; other positions
are prohibited for safety reasons.
• Position the clarifier in a sheltered spot. The UV light tube is made of quartz glass and is easily
breakable.
• Never switch on the water clarifier when it is open or when it is not filled with water.
• Do not expose the device to pressure greater than 0.3 bar.

• Do not use the appliance if the mains plug, mains cable or any other part of the appliance is

of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Electrical appliances produce sparks that can ignite dust or
exhaust fumes.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• The plugs of electrical appliances must be compatible with the socket. Never change the plug.
Do not use adaptor plugs with earthed electrical appliances. Original plugs and matching
sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
• Use the cable only for its intended purpose. Never use the cable to carry, pull or unplug the
electrical appliance. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
• The device must be supplied via a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual current
of maximum 30 mA.
• The installation of electrical appliances must comply with local and national electrical
regulations.
• Make sure that the electrical connections are located in a flood-proof area i. e. that they are
protected from moisture.
