MAINTENANCE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug before carrying out maintenance
or inspection work.
Check all the parts for signs of wear. Do not continue to use the product if you find any defects.
Parts should only be replaced with original spare parts, and by a specialist, in accordance with the
manufacturer's specifications. A lack of care and maintenance can damage the appliance.
Dangerous situations can arise. To ensure electrical safety, the appliance must not be subjected
to liquids or be immersed in them. Regular maintenance helps to ensure the safety of the product
and increases its service life.
Notes:
Replace the UVC bulb after approx. 8000 hours of operation.
Dirt in the quartz glass tube will affect performance. Clean as soon as possible if dirt is present
and also clean the tube on a regular basis.
Dirt in the housing can damage the quartz glass tube. Position a sponge filter in front of the
inlet of the water pump.
Allow the system to cool down sufficiently before replacing the bulb.
Replacing the UVC bulb / cleaning the quartz glass tube
1.
Disconnect the bulb and the pump from the power supply.
2.
Close the water connections to prevent possible leakage.
3.
Pull out the locking mechanism (16) on the cap (1). Open the housing by turning the cap in
the direction of the OPEN arrow.
4.
Remove the cap and components. You can now replace the bulb and clean the quartz glass.
5.
We recommend using a damp cloth to clean the glass.
6.
When replacing the quartz glass, make sure that there isn't any water present. Use gloves
or a dry cloth when dismantling.
7.
When reassembling, make sure that all seals are clean and correctly fitted.
8.
Put the cap back on the housing, turn it in the direction of the CLOSE arrow and engage the
locking mechanism.
9.
Open the water connections again: do not switch the clarifier on without filling with water
first!
10. After reassembling, always switch the pump on before the water clarifier.
