5. GENERAL WARNINGS
• Read carefully the entire manual before using the device
• Make sure that the product is delivered complete and keep it packed away from heat
sources
• Service life the device use limit is defined by the wear of the parts
• Do not allow children to play or operate the device
• The user and/or the patient will have to report any serious accident that have occurred
related the device to the manufacturer and appropriate authority of the State which the
user and/or patient belongs to.
• For a correct use take reference to the following manual
• Person with severe physical handicaps or mentally disturbed persons should
never be left unattended in the bath
• The seat may slip if the suction pads do not adhere properly.
Clean the bathtub and the suction pad before use
• DO NOT move the bath lift once you have installed it in the bathtub
• Replace the suction pads whenever they are damaged or worn out
• DO NOT use the bath lift without putting on the soft mat
• Always sit in the middle of the bath lift and keep your weight centering
in the seat while moving in or out the bathtub and bathing
• Only raise or lower the actuator when the backrest is upright and securely locked
• There is a risk of injury while the lifting scissors move. DO NOT reach between
the lifting scissors during assembling it
• The bath lift must be inaccessible to children and animals
• Use only the battery charger that comes with your bath lift
• The battery charger must only be used outside the bathroom in a dry environment
• DO NOT connect the battery charger to the power sources until the battery
pack has been correctly connected with it
• DO NOT place the battery pack near hot, sparking or burning objects
• Always disconnect the battery pack before transporting the bath lift
• Batteries contained in the battery pack are rechargeable and replaceable,
but can only be replaced by qualified personnel. Do not try to open or replace them
by yourself. The used batteries must be disposed of in the proper manner
• Repairs must only be undertaken by authorized specialists or the manufacturer
• The actuator is not designed to be used under water level. In order not to cause any
danger or damage do not operate the bath lift while the actuator is submerged in the water
• DO NOT use a damaged or badly worn bath lift
• DO NOT overload the bath lift. Otherwise, serious injury may occur
WARNING!
• Never use the bath lift as an aid to get in or out of anything except for the bathtub
• Never use as a support, a ladder, lifting platform or for similar purpose
• Any other use which this bath lift does not intended for may cause serious
injury or damage to personal property
