The Multi Flash Plus from Elektronikbox is a univer-
sal, pushbutton-controlled and load-independent
flasher unit with automatic switch-off and warning
flasher function.
At least 6 cables are connected for proper func-
tion:
Red +12 V
Black Vehicle mass
Purple (thick) Turn signal left side
Brown (thick) Blinker right side
Purple (thin) Button for turn signal left, other wire
of the button goes to 12V
Brown (thin) Button for turn signal right, other
wire of the button goes to 12V
The seventh, green (thin) cable will be either shor-
tened and insulated or permanently grounded.
Ground on the green cable switches off the auto-
cancelling function. The turn signals must then be
switched off manually.

Auto-cancelling works independently of the vehic-
le speed.
Auto-Cancelling
The auto-cancelling has three different modes,
which run depending on the pressure duration on
the button:
Pressing the button for less than 0.5 s:
4 x flashing
Pressing the button for 0.5s - 1s:
30 x flashing
Pressing the button for more than 1 s:
continuous flashing, turn signals must be swit-
ched off with second press
Cables of 20 cm length are moulded into the mo-
dule. We recommend the connection with the cor-
responding Deutsch connectors of the respective
model. The module should not be placed near ig-
nition cables or the ignition coil in order to avoid
electrostatic interference. The manufacturer has
designed the size of the module so that the place-
ment in the handlebar or in the headlight housing
will present no problem: for custom bikes certainly
a clean and cool solution.
The maximum load per turn signal side is 60W.
This covers all usual turn signals.
Following a few wiring diagrams as examples. How-
ever, we recommend that you identify the cable
colors on your own motorcycle and, if in doubt, re-
fer to your model's manual.
