Never open or damage the accumulator or drop it on the
ground.
Never charge the battery in an environment with acids and
easily flammable materials.
Protect the battery from heat and fire.
Battery to be used at ambient temperatures between 10 °
C and + 40 ° C only.
Never place the battery on heaters and do not expose it to
strong sunlight for a long time.
After being subjected to a heavy load, first allow the battery
to cool down.
Short circuit: do not bridge the accumulator contacts with
metal parts.
The accumulator must be packaged (plastic bag, box) or
the accumulator contacts must be sealed for disposal,
transportation, or storage.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
1. I CANNOT FIT THE BATTERY INTO
THE BATTERY CHARGER. WHY?
The battery can be inserted into the charger only in one
direction. Turn the battery around until it can be inserted
into the slot.
2. REASONS FOR DIFFERENT BATTER PACK
WORKING TIMES.
Charging time issues, as above, and having not used a
battery pack for a porlonged time will reduce the wor-
king life of the battery pack. This can be corrected after
several charge and discharge operations by charging &
working with your drill. Heavy working conditions such as
large screws into than lighter working conditions. Do not
re-charge your battery pack below 0ºand above 50º as this
will affect performance.
3. HOT BATTERY PACK PROTECTION.
The normal charging temperature is between 0º and
50º. When the battery pack is too hot, it automatically starts
a HOT battery pack delay, and suspends charging until it
has reached the correct temperature. The charging process
will then automatically begin.
4. BATTERY PACK OVERLOAD AND
LOW-VOLTAGE PROTECTION.
When max. allowable battery current is exceeded during
working, the overload protection is activated to protect
the battery against overheating. When the battery is under
normal voltage during working, the power tool will cease
to operate.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
- Always make sure the tool is turned off and the batteries
removed before attempting inspection or maintenance.
- Never use gasoline, benzene, thinner, alcohol or the like. It
can result in discoloration, warping or cracking.
CLEAN THE TOOL
Clean the tool by wiping away dust with a dry or soap-
soaked cloth.
BLADE MAINTENANCE
Coat the blade before and once an hour during operation
with machine oil or similar.
NOTE:
- After operation, remove the dust from both sides of the
blade with a wire brush, wipe it clean, and then apply enou-
gh low-viscosity oil, such as machine oil, etc. and lubrica-
ting oil spray.
CAUTION:
-Do not wash the blades with water. Failure to do so may
cause rust or damage to the tool.
