the circuit (circuit breaker or fuse) that energizes the tool. Then, remove the plug from the power outlet and check
if the plug or the power outlet contains water;
6. Make sure the maximum speed of the wheel, wire brush wheel or grinding accessories is superior to the speed
of the grinder. Let a new wheel spin freely for 30 seconds before starting any service;
7. The use of this tool might create and/or spread dust that may cause serious and permanent respiratory, and
other, injuries. To reduce the exposure to these substances, work in well-ventilated places and always use dust
mask;
8. This product must not be used by people who are likely to suddenly lose consciousness. Example: (Epilepsy,
low or high blood pressure, sunstroke, etc.)
Assembly and adjustment services:
1. Before plugging your tool into the power outlet, check if the local voltage is the same as your tool's. Check if
the tool is in good conditions by performing a quick visual inspection. If any abnormality is found, immediately
suspend the use and contact the nearest SCHULZ AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDER for repair;
2. Your SCHULZ grinder is equipped with a safety lock that helps prevent accidents. To turn on, press the safety
lock and the on/off button at the same time;
3. For assembly and disassembly adjustments, the tool must be always turned off and the power cord must be
unplugged from the power outlet.

Installing the wheels.
1. Make sure the guard (5) is properly fixed;
2. Install the backing flange (2) on the spindle (1). Make sure it fits on the two flat surfaces.
Install the grinding wheel (3) on the spindle and on the backing wheel. Make sure it fits
properly;
3. Install the flange nut (4), make sure its orientation is correct for the installed wheel. For
grinding wheels, the flange must be installed with its protrusion facing the disc. For cutting
discs, the flange must be installed with its protrusion facing away from the disc;
4. Use the wrench (6) to tighten the flange nut (4);
5. Press the spindle lock button (7) and turn the spindle until it locks.
Keep the spindle lock button pressed and tighten the flange nut with the supplied wrench
(6) until it's properly fixed.
Installing the side handle
1. To install the side handle, insert it into the two possible positions and tighten it by turning clockwise.
Before any adjustment, check if the tool is unplugged from the power outlet.
