1. Fill water tank with clean water
2. Open water tank valve when ready to drip water down baseplate
3. Close water valve when plate compactor is stopped or not in use
4. Vibration of plate compactor will help water drip and disperse across base plate
5. Do not use water in freezing conditions and always empty tank after every use
The water tank can be removed to fill at water source. Simply remove the tank latch and pull the water line from
the water bar. Replace when tank is put back into the water tank bracket
ENGINE WON'T START:
1. Check for sufficient fuel.
2. Check oil level. Engines have an "Oil Alert" feature, which prevents them from starting when the oil level is low.
3. Was engine choked when starting?
4. Is engine flooded?
5. Check spark plug. (Clean and check gap)
6. If engine still will not start, consult the engine owner's manual or take it to an authorized service center
MACHINE WON'T VIBRATE
1. Check for correct belt tension (make sure belt is not too loose)
2. Check for correct throttle movement
ENGINE KEEPS DYING

2. Check throttle cable, making sure it's correctly connected to carburetor
