4. INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
}Warning: Before using your screwdriver l.D be sure to read the instruction manual carefully.
1. lnserting a bit into bit holder (see fig2)
}Warning: Before installing tool, remove l.D mains plug from mains supply.
To use the bit, simply insert it into the bit holder of unit. To remove the bit, pul! it out of the bit
holder.
2. Operating the switch (see fig3)
Press the on/off switch in for operation, release switch to stop.
The speed of the screwdriver varíes with the amount of pressure applied to the on/off switch, i.e.
more pressure for higher speed.
lf you wish to use the screwdriver continuously the switch lock button can be pushed in after the
on/off switch has been depressed. To release the lock button simply depress on/off switch fully, the
button will automatically release.
3. Changing rotational direction (see fig4) To change the rotational direction, push the forward/re-
verse selector switch to the "R" position indicated on your screwdriver. The rotation will now be
forward rotation. Push the forward/reverse selector switch to "l.'.' position indicated on your screw-
driver. The rotation will be reverse rotation.
Note: Never move the forward/reverse switch whilst the screwdriver in operation or the on/off switch
is locked as this will damage the screwdriver.
4. Depth adjustment (see fig 5)
To increase or decrease the screw depth in the workpiece, you can turn the adjustment collar to
adjust screw depth. Turn clockwise to decrease the screw depth and anti-clockwise to increase
screw depth.
5. Changing bit holder (see fig6, fig7, fig8) Pull out the adjustment collar from the clutch housing.
Pull out the bit holder from the spindle with pliers if it is difficult to remove. Push new bit holder into
spindle until ball lock snaps in groove in bit holder shank. Replace adjustment collar by snapping
over the clutch housing.
Note: raised bar in adjusting collar should target the groove on clutch housing.
6. Operation screwdriver
There is a clutch in your screwdriver. Switch on the screwdriver, the motor is running, then the bit
isn't running. When sufficient forward pressure is applied to the bit, the clutch engaging, spindle
and. bit is rotating. When the front of adjustment collar touch the flat board, the clütch will be segre-
gated, the oits will not be rotating. The screw depth in the 'flat board can be adjusted with adjust-
