etc., should be selected according to the temperature to
be maintained by the unit so that it will not freeze).
The liquid level should be approx. 2 cm below the tank
edges.
Examples of liquid mixtures:
a) Ethylene glycol and demineralized water in proportion
55:45 - freezing point -40°C
b) Glycerol and demineralized water in proportion 70:30
- freezing point -30°C
2. Connect the inlet and outlet of the unit with the inlet and
outlet of the laboratory instrument needing temperature
control.
For the SBS-LCC-5000, you can also connect the inlet and
outlet with each other when cooling a component placed
in a tank. The item to be cooled (e.g., a laboratory beaker
- not included) should be supported by, for example, a
bracket attached to a rod (10).
Caution: Use an insulated hose for the connection.
Caution: The liquid at the inlet (coming out of the external
device) should not exceed 40 °C for water, and 10 °C for
solutions containing alcohol (e.g. ethanol).
3. Connect the device plug to a power source.
4. Switch on the display with the On/Off key (D). The display
switches to the normal operating state after approx. 3s.
The upper line of the display shows the current
temperature (PV), and the lower line shows the desired
temperature (SV).
5. Set the desired temperature by following the steps below:
- enter the settings by pressing the settings button (H), the
upper line of the display will show "SP", the lower line will
show the temperature value to be edited using the
buttons (F) and (G).
To save the settings and return to the main screen press
the setting button (H).
