Assembling Fig.B, C
Remove all packaging materials, and make sure that all components are provided in the box.
Place the base assembly on a flat and stable surface. Remove all 8 screws by using a Phillips screwdriver.
If you wish to permanently install the base on the floor, remove the metal base cover, and place the base where
you intend to install the appliance. Mark the holes where the anchors will be installed with a pencil, following the
guiding holes on the base. Use a drill to make the holes and insert the anchors; place the base on the holes and
firmly fix it with the screws provided.
In case the appliance does not have to be drilled to the floor, place the base assembly on a flat and stable sur-
face, and only remove 4 of the 8 screws found on the base (leaving the others in place). Place the lower pole on
the base, aligning the holes found on the tube with those on the base; insert the screws and securely fix them
with a hand or electric screwdriver. At this point, slide the base fixing cover down, to cover the screws, and place
a power cable clamp on the upper part of the pole.
Connect the medium pole to the lower pole, aligning the holes found on both poles; insert 3 pole fixing screws
and securely tighten them with a screwdriver; then inser a power cable clamo.
Connect the upper pole to the medium pole, and proceed as described above.
To adjust height, untighten the pole cover and extract the telescopic pole to the desired height; then fix it by
tightening the pole cover. Finally, install the heating elements assembly on to the telescopic pole, and fix it by
tightening the fixing knob; slide the power cable throught the clamps.
To adjust tilt, move the heating elements assembly up or down, paying attention not to force the movement
beyond the permitted level, to avoid damaging the assembly and its support.
Warning: the heating elements assembly can reach very high temperatures during its operation;
make sure to adjust tilt before switching the appliance on and/or at least 15 minutes after it had been
shut off.
Operation
Connect the appliance to a wall socket, and pull the switch down; the indicator will show level 1, and the ap-
pliance starts working at the lower power setting (650W). By pulling the switch again, it will be possible to select
power level 2 – medium (1300W), while pulling the switch one more time the max power level 3 will be selected
(2000W). By pulling the switch one last time, the appliance will be turned off.
Warning: it is normal to hear a slight vibration when the appliance is switched on; this vibration is
due to the quartz heating elements, that take a few seconds to fully activate. When the heating ele-
ments start glowing, the vibration will stop.
Cleaning and maintenance
Make sure that the appliance is switched off, completely cold and unplugged from wall socket before proceeding
with any cleaning or maintenance operations.
Use a soft cloth dampened with water if necessary to remove dust and/or stains from the base, the poles and
outer surface of heating elements assembly.
