Congratulations and thank you for purchasing this Schwaiger product.
These operating instructions are intended to assist you in using the prod-
uct. Read through the instructions for use carefully. Store this guide safely
throughout the product's entire service life and pass it on to any subse-
quent users or owners. Check that the supplied package is complete and
ensure that none of the parts are defective or damaged.

2. INTENDED USE:
The USB hub is designed to extend a USB port on stationary computers or
laptops. The data transfer is done according to the USB 2.0 standard. The
product is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial
use. Only use the product as described in this user manual. Any other use
is considered improper and may result in property damage.
3. GENERAL SAFETY AND
WARNING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage can lead to electric
shock.
• Do not operate the product if it shows visible damage.
• Do not disassemble the product into its individual parts. Improper han-
dling can lead to electric shock and malfunction.
• Never immerse the product in water.
• Never touch the product with wet hands.
• Keep the product away from open flames and hot surfaces.
• Never operate the product in wet areas or in the rain.
• Do not expose the product to rain or extreme weather conditions e.g.,
sub-zero temperatures, hail, extreme heat.
• Never place the product in such a way that it can fall into water.
• Never reach for an electrical device if it has fallen into water.
• Make sure that no liquid gets into the product and, if necessary, dry the
product thoroughly before using it again.
• Ensure that children do not insert any objects into the product.
• Route the USB cable so that it does not become a tripping hazard.
• Do not bend the USB cable or place it over sharp edges.

4. INITIAL OPERATION:
1. Insert the USB plug of the USB hub into a suitable USB socket on your
computer or laptop.
2. Insert the USB plug of up to 4 USB devices that you want to connect
to your computer or laptop into the USB sockets of the USB hub.
3. Turn the switch of the connected USB jack to ON position to activate
it. The indicator in front of the respective USB socket will then light up
blue and the connected device will be connected to the computer or
laptop.
4. To terminate the USB connection, switch the switch of the respective
USB socket back to the OFF position. The indicator in front of the USB
socket goes out and the USB connection is disconnected.

6. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING:
NOTE
Danger of short-circuit!
Any water or other liquids which penetrate the casing may cause a short
circuit.
Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
Ensure that no water or other liquids penetrate the product.
NOTE
Risk of damage!
Handling the product improperly can lead to damage to the product.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon
bristles or any sharp or metal cleaning objects such as a knife, hard scrap-
er and similar, since these may damage the surfaces.
1. Disconnect the product before cleaning.
2. Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth.
3. Use a slightly dampened cloth and, where necessary, a little mild
dish-washing detergent to clean stubborn stains.
4. Then let the product dry completely.
STORAGE
All parts must be completely dry before storing.
Always store the product in a dry place.
Store the product out of children's reach in a securely locked place and
at a storage temperature between 5 °C and 20 °C (room temperature).
DISPOSAL
Disposing of packaging
Sort before disposing of the packaging. Dispose of card and card-
board in the used paper container and film in the corresponding
recycling container.

for separated collection of materials)
Do not dispose of old electrical devices in the household
waste.
If the product can no longer be used, every consumer is legally
obliged to dispose of old electrical appliances separately from
household waste, e.g. at a collection point in his municipality/ur-
ban district. This guarantees that old devices are recycled and a negative
impact on the environment is avoided. That is why electrical devices are
marked with the symbol shown here.
