9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Depending on the symptoms of the machine we can detect the likely cause and solve the problem.
Problem
The engine stops when started.
Machine works sporadically.
Performance of the machine is
inadequate.
Blade does not turn.
Excessive vibrations or noise.
In any other case, take the machine to your nearest after sales service.
Cause
Plug or connector in a bad state.
Plug or connector in a bad state.
Cable damaged.
Switch damaged.
Security switch activated.
Cable extension faulty.
Internal cabling faulty.
Switch faulty.
Blunt blade.
Hopper, ejection mouthpiece or blades
blocked.
Blade blocked by strange element.
Screws of the blade loose.
Blades loose.
Blades damaged.
Strange and hard elements blocking the
blades.
Action
Connect to mains.
Try another plug. If the machine does not
start, take to nearest service agent.
Take the machine to after sales service.
Never repair cable using tape.
Take the machine to after sales service.
Press the restart button.
Check the cable extension and substitute
if necessary. Stop the machine,
disconnect the machine and check the
hopper and blades.
Substitute blades.
Stop the machine, unplug and clean the
shredding conduct and the blades.
Stop the machine, unplug and unblock
the blades.
Tighten the blades following steps in
blade maintenance.
Tighten blades, Change blades.
Clean entry conduct and blades.
