3.4.6 ADJUSTMENT OF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN ROWS

The width of the planting unit and the number of the furrow
openers determine the distance between rows. To change the
interrow distance, follow the diagrams shown in the Spare Parts
Booklet according to the type of furrow opener (hoe, single disc,
double disc). To increase or decrease the interrow distance for
sowing, remove or add furrow openers as follows (Fig. 18):
- unscrew the nut (A) and the screws (B).
- Once the desired number of the coulters has been obtained
they must all be set at the same distance (measured at the
coulters), and the screws tightened again.
- Make sure that only the sliding doors of the distributors that
have the telescoping tube (Fig. 19, C) are open; all the others
must be closed.

3.4.7 DISABLING SOWING BY HALF OF THE MACHINE

The transmission to the seed distributors has been equipped
with a mechanical system that allows you to disable operation,
and therefore sowing, by the left side of the equipment (Fig. 20).
Located at the centre of the equipment, the system allows you to
disable the transmission in the left hand section with a simple
manual movement (Fig. 20):
A) equipment operating with all the distributing parts;
B) equipment operating with just the right hand section.
