Blade Balancing
All blades are grouped by weight. Because nat-
ural woods vary in density, the fan may wobble
even though the blades are weight matched.
The following procedure should correct most
fan wobble. Check after each step.
1. Check that all blade and blade bracket
screws are secure.
2. Most fan wobble problems are caused when
blade levels are unequal. Check this level
by selecting a point on the ceiling above
the tip of one of the blades. Measure from
a point on the center of each blade to the
point on the ceiling. Measure this distance
as shown in Figure 15. Rotate the fan until
the next blade is positioned for measure-
ment. Repeat for each blade. Measurement
deviations should within 1/8". Run the fan
for 10 minutes.
3. Use the enclosed Blade Balancing Kit if the
blade wobble is still noticeable.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY,
DO NOT BEND THE BLADE HOLDERS WHILE
INSTALLING, BALANCING THE BLADES OR
CLEANING THE FAN. DO NOT INSERT FOREIGN
OBJECTS BETWEEN ROTATING FAN BLADES.

Installing the Light Kit
/ Glass Bowl
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electrical
shock, disconnect the electrical supply circuit
to the fan before installing light kit.
1. Remove one of three mounting screws on
the black bracket below the fan motor as-
sembly, loosen but do not remove the other
two mounting screws (Figure 16).
2. Align the two key slots in the switch cup
cover with the two mounting screws on the
black bracket that were loosened in step
1, place the switch cup cover over the two
screws, turn the switch cup cover clockwise
until it locks, tighten the screws.
3. Re-install the mounting screw that was removed
in step 1 and tighten firmly (Figure 16).
4. Remove four mounting screws on the switch
cup cover.
5. Connect the wires exiting the bottom of
switch cup cover with the switch cup by
connecting the molded adaptor plugs to-
gether (Figure 17).

switch cup cover using the four screws that
were removed in step 4.

Figure 15
and rubber washer from the light kit fitter
(Figure 17).
8. Withe the power off, install the two fluores-
cent bulbs (Max. 14W, supplied) by screw-
ing into the light bulb sockets.
9. Position the glass bowl over the threaded
nipple and pass the fan switch chain through
the chain guide on the side of the light kit
fitter to avoid the chain from touching the
glass bowl.
10. Re-install the rubber washer and hex nut to the
threaded nipple to secure glass bowl properly.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE HEX NUT,
OVERTIGHTENING THE HEX NUT MAY
CAUSE THE GLASS TO BREAK.
