Unreliability
indicator
The measured value is stable as soon as the measuring unit appears. The unreliability indicator
lights up while the balance is recalculating the reference weight, for example, during counting, or
when it is verified and in the warm-up phase.
To navigate in a menu,
press [MODE] to move down the path or start an entry,
press and hold [MODE] to move down the path,
press [PRINT] to move to the next higher path or to exit the menu.
To enter data,
press [MODE] to change the value or menu position,
press and hold [MODE] to move to the next digit or finalise the entry,
press [PRINT] to finalise the entry.
Application example: Adding up components (application net total)
If the balance is not set to English: Enter the configuration menu, switch the balance off and on with
[ON/OFF] and, as soon as all segments of the display light up, press and hold [MODE] until
"DEUTSCH/FRANCE" appears. Press [MODE]; "DEUTSCH/FRANCE" starts flashing. Press [MODE]
repeatedly until "ENGLISH" appears and finalise with [PRINT]; "ENGLISH" stops flashing. Press
[PRINT]; the balance finishes starting up.
To enter the application menu, press [MODE]; "OFF
flashing. Press [MODE] repeatedly until "NET-TOT" appears and finalise with [PRINT]. Hold
[MODE] until "A-START OFF" appears. Press [MODE]; "OFF" starts flashing, press [MODE]; "OFF"
becomes "ON", finalise with [PRINT]; "ON" stops flashing. Press [PRINT]; the balance exits the
application menu, starts the application Net total and displays 0g as the measured value.
Place the first component, e.g. 50g, and press [REF]; the balance records the value and tares itself.
Place the second component, e.g. 100g, and press [REF], and finally place the third component,
e.g. 20g, and press [REF].
Press and hold [REF] until "INFO" appears; the balance displays the result of the weights added up,
with "TOT" instead of the unit. Press [REF] to scroll through the entire stack of information: The
total is followed by the remaining capacity with "R-C" instead of the unit and all individual weights,
e.g. 50g, 100g and 20g. Press [MODE]; the balance returns to the tared display.
To add another component, place it and press [REF].
To restart, press and hold [REF] until "RESET" appears; the balance resets the counter to 0.
To quit the application, press [MODE]; the balance switches back to weighing mode.
