Keep all nuts and screws well tightened in order to
ensure a safe operation.
If any components or safety devices are removed for
maintenance works, they must be repositioned
immediately.
Storage in case of longer stopping periods
Never store the tool with petrol in the tank inside a
building. Petrol vapours may come into contact with
flames or sparks and ignite.
Store the earth auger in a dry area with the fuel tank
empty and the fuel in a well-ventilated compartment.
Avoid places with high humidity to avoid the
appearance of corrosion and rust.
Clean the equipment thoroughly before storage,
especially in winter. Keep the device in a good operating
mode.
Make sure the device is protected against misuse (for
example, by children).
Technical assistance
Your earth auger should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts sourced directly from the manufacturer.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Drill bit
1. Fit the drill bit (D) into the output shaft (A);
2. Secure it using the shear pin and split pin (B, C);
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
When using the earth auger, you should take into
consideration some precautions and procedures of use
in order to avoid accidents, damage and increase the
performance of the equipment:
▪ Ensure that you start your earth auger at a distance
of more than 3m from the fueling site;

▪ Always hold the earth auger with both hands;
▪ Do not attach the earth auger to fixed brackets;
▪ When you earth auger, engine is running at idle
speed the drill bit is not rotating. Otherwise, contact
technical assistance to carry out an inspection and
solve the problem;
▪ If you hear an unusual noise or the appliance vibrates
abnormally, stop working and identify the cause;
Starting the engine
1. Put the ON/OFF switch (G) to "START" position;
2. Press the safety lever (J) and throttle lever (K). Lock
the throttle by pressing the throttle trigger lockout (H);
3. Press the safety lever (J) and throttle lever (K);
4. Set the choke lever (F) to the "CLOSE" position;
5. Press the fuel primer bulb (E) a few times until the is
filled with fuel;
6. Pull the starter handle until the engine starts;
7. Set the choke lever back to the "OPEN" position.
When the starter handle returns to the original
position, the hand and arm can be moved quickly
towards the combustion engine.
As soon as the engine starts, press the throttle to
release the throttle trigger lockout and let the
engine warm up at idle speed for a few seconds before
using it.
