The device has not yet reached the operat-
ing temperature.
► Wait until the temperature level indica-
tor on the display (13) is constantly lit
and is no longer flashing.
A low temperature level has been set.
► Select a higher temperature level.
The steam production has not yet been
initiated.
► Press the steam button (4) two to
three times.
At high temperatures the steam produced
is dry and almost invisible. This is exacer-
bated by a high ambient temperature.
► Set a lower temperature to check
whether the device is producing
steam.
The device has not been moved for some
time and the automatic safety switch-off
function has been activated.
► Move the device or press any button
to switch it back on.
Water emerges from the bottom of
the iron.
A low temperature level has been set.
► Select a higher temperature level.
The water tank (8) is overfi lled.
► Pour away some water.
The device makes loud pumping
noises.
The water tank (8) is empty.
► Top up the water tank.
A strange odour is produced.
You might notice a slight odour caused by
production residues the fi rst time you use
the device. However, this is harmless and
will cease as you use the device.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
The warranty does not cover faults caused
by incorrect handling, damage or attempted
repairs. The same applies to normal wear
and tear.
We do not accept any liability for damage
or consequential damage resulting from:
○ failure to follow the operating
instructions
○ improper or unsuitable handling
○ repairs which are not carried out
properly
○ unauthorised modifi cations
○ use of outside parts or spare parts
○ use of unsuitable additional parts or
accessories

DISPOSAL

Dispose of the packaging material
in an environmentally friendly man-
ner so that it can be recycled.
This device is governed by the
European Directive 2012/19/EU
on waste electrical and electronic
equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose
of this device as normal domestic
waste, but rather in an environmen-
tally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.
