Mounting the Print Server
The print server UT 100 allows the printer models LP 3318 and LP 4118 to be
connected to the network via the Centronics interface:
Do not connect the print server to other printer models!
Connect the print server to the printer
Proceed as follows:
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Disconnect the printer's power cord.
3. Plug the print server on to the printer's Centronics interface.
Connect the print server to the network
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the network cable (RJ-45) to the print server.
2. Connect the printer's power cord to the printer.
3. Turn the printer on.
4. Press the status button of the print server in order to print out
a status page.
