WPE DIESEL GENERATORS
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Engine will not start.
Engine will not start with Remote
Control.
Engine is running but no output.
NOTE: When welding, if you find the electricity is too large for welder or the engine shuts down by overload during
welding, it may cause by the AVR's regulator to damage or short circuit.
Cause
No fuel.
The switch is not at "ON" position
The high pressure fuel pump,
injection nozzle cannot inject or
the fuel amount is insufficient.
The control lever of speed is not at
"RUN" position
Check oil level
The speed and force to pull the
recoil starter is not enough
The injection nozzle is dirty or
blocked
The battery is flat
Ignition key is not in the ON
position
Lever not in to RUN position
Oil or fuel level low
AC circuit breaker is turned 'OFF'
The contact of socket is not good
The rated speed of generator
cannot be reached
Other.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Solution
Add fuel.
Turn it to "ON" position
Remove the injection nozzle out and repair
it or bleed the fuel injection system.
Put the control level to "RUN" position
Add oil if needed
Start the diesel engine according to the
requirements of operating procedure of
start
Clean or replace injection nozzle
Recharge or replace
Check steps 1-3 on RC instructions
Check steps 1-3 on RC instructions
Add oil or fuel if needed
Put the main AC switch to the "ON" position
Adjust the feet of socket
Adjust engine governor according to the
requirements
