SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Read all instructions carefully and keep the manual in a safe place for
future reference.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock in the event of a fault or malfunction,
the unit must be connected to a grounded outlet. If you are not sure
whether your outlet meets the requirements, seek advice from an
electrician. Only connect the appliance to sockets that correspond to the
specified voltage of the appliance.
•
Place the unit near a power socket. Please make sure that the socket is
always accessible so that you can unplug the appliance before you move it,
clean it or if you are not going to use it for a long time.
•
Do not bend, pull or twist the power cord and make sure that no one steps
on it.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an
authorised specialist company or a similarly qualified person.
•
Do not place the unit in damp rooms such as bathrooms. Make sure that no
water drips onto the unit.
•
Do not use water hotter than 50 °C.
•
If you place the appliance on a carpet, make sure that the carpet does not
block the air inlet at the bottom of the appliance.
•
Do not wash garments with down, mackintoshes or other waterproof
garments to avoid strong vibrations during washing.
•
Never put your hands into the washing machine or spin dryer while the
appliance is in operation. Make sure that children do not lean over the
laundry drum.
•
Do not try to repair the device yourself.
•
Do not place hot, heavy or fragile objects on the appliance.
•
Do not wash clothes that are contaminated with highly flammable
substances such as petrol or varnish.
•
Children over 8 years as well as mentally, sensory and physically impaired
persons may only use the device if they have been informed in detail about
the functions and safety precautions by a supervisor responsible for them
beforehand and understand the associated risks.
•
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight and do not place it near heaters.
•
Only plug the unit into sockets where no other electronic devices are
connected.
•
The distance between the drain hose and the drain should not be greater
than 10 cm, otherwise the water cannot drain completely from inside the
machine.
•
Do not step on the drain hose.
