AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING

At low ambient temperatures, frost can build up on the evaporator during operation. When this happens the unit will
start defrosting automatically and the POWER LED will flash.
When the unit operates in COOL, DRY mode, the ambient temperature sensor detects that the
evaporator coil temperature is less than -1°C, after the compressor stops running for 10 minutes
or the coil temperature rises to 7°C, the unit resumes the refrigeration operation mode.
When the unit operates in HEAT and DRY operation, once the coil temperature sensor detects that
the evaporator temperature is below 40°C and the differential between the coil temperature
and ambient temperature is below 19°C, after the compressor runs for 20 minutes, the unit
begins defrosting for 5 minutes and the POWER indicator flashes.
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
In case of power loss, to protect the compressor there is a 3 minute stop until the compressor starts again.
DRAINAGE OPERATION
The self-evaporating system uses the water collected to cool the condenser
coils for better performance. It is not necessary to empty the drain tank in COOL
mode, except in DRY operation and in high humidity conditions.
For continuous or unattended operation in DRY mode, please connect a hose to
the drain outlet hole and make sure it is not kinked or obstructed, place the hose
outlet over a drain or bucket with a 20 degree or more inclination to the ground
and make sure that water can flow freely out of the unit. Do not immerse the end
of the hose in water.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before cleaning, please turn off the air conditioning and disconnect the plug.
CLEANING THE SURFACE
Clean the surface of the air conditioner with a cloth or a soft, semi-damp cloth. Do not use chemical reagents. Doing
so will damage the surface of the unit and may even damage the air conditioner completely.
CLEANING THE FILTERS
If the air conditioner is used continuously, it is recommended to clean the filters once every two weeks.
1.
Remove the air inlet grille and remove the filter
screen.
2.
Use a hoover to clean the dust from the filter.
3.
Rinse the air filter with water and let the water
run in the opposite direction of the air flow, let it
air dry before installing it.
