3.5 EDID Settings
Loc: - Copies the EDID information of the local display (if connected) and trans-
mits it to the HDMI source equipment. The source equipment will send it to the
extended display.
Ext: - Copies the EDID information of the extended display and transmits it to
the HDMI source equipment. The source equipment will send it to the local
display (if connected).
EDID Definition: Extended Display Identification Data is information provided by
a digital display to video source equipment such as a computer or video stream-
ing box.
Note: Set the EDID for the display with the lowest video resolution setting. Loc
for Video OUT on the Transmitter or Ext for Video OUT on the Receiver.

3.6 IR Remote Control

IR Transmitter (Blaster) Cable
IR Receiver Cable
IR Transmitter Cable: Connect to the IR-T port on the Transmitter box. Requires
line-of-sight with the HDMI source equipment IR window. Tip: Shine a light on
the source box to reveal the IR window, if it is not labeled. Source equipment
should be within 5 feet of the IR-T bulb. (Check your HDMI source equipment
documentation).
IR Receiver Cable: Connect to the IR-R port on the Receiver box. Requires line-
of-sight with the IR remote. IR Remote should operate within 20 feet of IR-R
cable bulb.
Note: RF and Bluetooth remotes are not compatible.
