Shoulder Bolsters
The Shoulder Bolsters provide upper torso support,
protection and containment and accommodate
asymmetries in the chair user. The Shoulder Bolster is
always used in conjunction with the wing.
To Attach the Shoulder Bolsters:
-With the open end facing upwards, slide the Shoulder
Bolster onto the bottom of the wing.
-Slide the Shoulder Bolster up onto the top of the wing
and secure in place.

Swing Away/Removable Arms
The swing away removable arms allow for side access to
facilitate safe and easy transfers. The Elite chairs offer a
choice of two different arms styles: seat mounted or base
mounted. (Seat mounted arms tilt with the seat; Base
mounted arms remain at a fixed angle.)
To Remove the Seat Mounted Arms:
Push the button on the front of the seat, while pulling out
the arm.
-Swing the side panel away or remove completely.
To Remove the Base Mounted Arms:
- Push down on the front of the armrest while pushing in
the button on the side panel and allow the armrest to
"pop up."
- Swing the side panel away or remove completely.
To Insert the Base or Seat Mounted Arms:
- Insert the back end of the side panel into the back
receptacle.
- Swing the side panel and towards the front of the chair
and insert front of arm into front receptacle until you
hear a clicking sound.
