Charging the trimmer

• Direct charging at the appliance: Plug the mains adaptor into the socket and the mains adap-
tor's connecting plug into the trimmer (Figure B).
• Charging in the charging station: The mains adaptor's connecting plug must be inserted into
the charging station so that the contact surfaces are pointing downwards (Figure C). Then
insert the appliance into the charging station for charging (Figure D).

Initial start-up

The trimmer must first be charged as described in the Charging process section.
4 Operation
Press the on/off switch to turn the trimmer on and off.

Cleaning and maintenance

The cutter head must be regularly cleaned and oiled in the appropriate places to ensure that it
works properly.
If you do not clean and oil the cutter head regularly this leads to wear on the cutter head and mo-
tor.
