Electrical Shock or Personal Injury Hazard
Always turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner before performing maintenance to the
vacuum cleaner. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock or personal injury from
vacuum cleaner suddenly starting.
TO CHECK THE BRUSHES
When brushes are worn to the level of the base support bars, replace the agitator
assembly.
TO REPLACE AGITATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the motorized nozzle top cover, middle cover, belt and the wood agitator
assembly. See "TO REMOVE BELT" in MOTORIZED NOZZLE CARE (page 8-13).
2. Replace the agitator assembly. See your separate repair parts list for part number.
3. Reinstall the agitator assembly and motorized nozzle covers. See "TO REPLACE BELT"
(page 14-18).
