This kit allows to transform the boiler from room
central heating only to combined production of
domestic hot water and for similar purposes. It
will therefore be possible to couple the boiler to
an external storage tank unit, sold separately.
The kit must be installed by a qualified technician
(e.g. Immergas After-Sales Technical Assistance
Service).
Description for installation.
Proceed as follows to assemble the kit:
- Remove the voltage from the appliance,
removing power from the switch upstream
from the boiler. Cut-off the DHW circuit and
the CH circuit.
- Empty the boiler circuit using the relevant
system draining valve (see boiler instruction
book).
- Disassemble the casing (see boiler instruction
book).
- Mount the fittings (3) on the storage tank unit
return pipes (5) on the storage tank unit flow
pipes (6) as indicated in the figure.
- Remove the cap present on the storage tank
unit return pipe (2) and mount the pipe (5) in
its place, positioning the gasket between them
(4).

Commissioning.
- Re-mount the casing.
- Open the DHW circuit again and restore the
CH system pressure (see instruction book),
paying attention to have closed the system
draining valve, previously opened.
- Restore the electric power supply to the boiler
in order to take it back to normal operating
conditions.
N.B.: use of the boiler with production of DHW
is described in the boiler instruction book in the
user chapter.
