IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
Before using the electrical appliance, you should comply with the following basic precautions:
1. Read all the instructions.
2. Before using the appliance, check that the output socket voltage corresponds with the estimated voltage indicated
on the measuring plate.
3. This electrical appliance has an earthed plug. Please make sure that your home's socket is properly earthed.
4. To prevent burns or electric shocks and so that people are not injured, do no immerse the cable or the plug in water
or other liquids.
5. Take the plug out of the socket before cleaning it and when the appliance is not working. Leave the electrical
appliance to cool down completely before removing it, adding parts or cleaning it.
6. Do not operate any electrical appliance with a damaged cable or plug, it does not work correctly or is faulty or the
damaged. Return the electrical appliance to the nearest Authorised Technical Service for them to examine or repair it or
adjust electric or mechanical parts.

The use of any accessory that has not been recommended by the manufacturer of the electrical appliance may
cause a fire, electric shocks or injuries.
8. Place the electrical appliance on a flat surface or table, and make sure that the cable does not hang over the edge of the
table or worktop.
9. Make sure that the cable is not in contact with the hot surface of the electrical appliance.
10. Do not put the coffee maker on hot surface or near to fire to prevent it from being damaged.
11. To disconnect it, remove the cable from the socket. Pull the plug, never the cable.
12. Do not use this electrical appliance for any other use than that what it is been designed for and keep it in a dry
place.
13. This appliance s not designed to be used by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disabilities
or who have no experience or knowledge, except when supervised or have been given instructions on the use of
the appliance by the person looking after them. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
14. Be careful not to be burnt by the steam.
15. Do not touch the electrical appliance's hot surface.
16. Do not turn the coffee maker on without water.
17. Do not remove the filter holder when the coffee is being made or when steam or hot water is coming out of it.
18. Plug the electrical appliance in before use and turn all the switches off before unplugging it.
19. If the electric cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorised technical service or by a
qualified engineer to prevent dangerous situations.
20. Do not use it outdoors.
21. Keep the instructions.
ONLY FOR DOMESTIC USE
BEFORE USING IT FOR THE FIRST TIME
To guarantee a delicious first cup of coffee, you should clean the coffee maker with tepid water as indicated below:
1. Pour water into the water tank. The water level should not exceed the "MAX" mark on the tank. Then close the water
tank cover.
Note: The electrical appliance has an easy-to-clean, removable tank. First, fill the water tank and then put it into
the electrical appliance.
2. Put the filter into the filter holder.
3. Put a coffee cup on the tray. Make sure that the steam selector is in the minimum position.
Note: The electrical appliance does not come with a jug. Please use a jug or coffee cup.
4. Plug it in; turn the I/O button to the "I" on position. The red light will turn on.
5. The first time you use the electrical appliance, leave the water to run activating the pump control button.
6. When the water stops running, in other words, there is no water left in the tank, the coffee maker is ready to make
coffee.
Note: The coffee maker may make a noise the first time water is pumped. This is quite normal; the electrical
appliance is letting off air. This noise will disappear after 20 seconds.
