2. Notes on safety

bott vario3 in-vehicle equipment solutions may only be
installed into a vehicle by bott, a certified bott installation
engineer, or a certified bott partner.
Proper use:
The in-vehicle equipment is generally only allowed for
the transportation of goods. Any purpose beyond that is
considered improper use.
Foreseeable misuse:
The in-vehicle equipment must not be used to transport or
carry living things!
The maximum allowed gross weight, (vehicle + payload),
must not be exceeded. Vehicle handling characteristics
can be affected by the installation of an in-vehicle storage
system. Always ensure the payload is evenly distributed.
Avoid loading the vehicle on one side only and make sure
all loose items are secured.
Contact with caustic substances or vapors could result
in damage to your bott in-vehicle equipment and
must be avoided at all costs.
Before using your bott vice, please refer to the vice specific
operating instructions provided.
