■ Damaged power supply leads should be
replaced solely by the manufacturer, its
service division or a similarly qualified
person, with a view to preventing any
hazard.
■ Please do not sit on the head support or
foot end of the bed whilst raised.
■ Make sure that the cables cannot become
trapped. Check this by adjusting the bed
after it has been installed.
■ Remove the plug from the socket during a
thunderstorm.
■ Release the controls immediately should
anything become trapped between the
moving parts. The motors do not stop
automatically and continue to operate.
■ Always place the remote control back in its
RC-clamp on the AVS frame at the bedside.
Do not leave it in your bed to avoid falling
asleep on it.
■ Do not smoke in bed, and keep burning
objects away from the bed.

3. Preparing for use

3.1 Components of your mesh base

Auping AVS mesh base.
-
Remote controlled electric motors.
Your supplier will install your AVS mesh base
for you. The drive motors should be fitted by
Auping specialists only.
For other parts and detailed installa tion
instructions, we refer you to the installation
cards included with the various parts.

3.2 Attachment of the handset

• In
attach the handset to
Auping Auronde and
Next or other bed
model.
• Place the clamp on the
underside of the side
panel of the surround
(see fig. 3).
• Click the handset into
the clamp.
