The Comfortslide
®
mesh base to the shape of your body. People
with broad shoulders and/or hips, should move
the relevant slides outwards. Those with slim
shoulders and/or hips should slide them
inwards.

2. Safety instructions
■ The AVS mesh base must only be fitted by
an Auping specialist.
■ The AVS mesh base is only suitable for nor-
mal household use.
■ The AVS control system and motors are
operated on safe low voltage current.
■ Check that the input voltage indicated on
the transformer is the same as the mains
voltage in the house.
■ Adjustable beds have moving parts. Make
sure that your limbs cannot become
trapped.
■ Only adjust the bed while you are lying on it.
Make sure that no children are under the
bed while it is being adjusted.
■ Disconnect the bed from the power supply
before cleaning. Pull the plug out of the
socket.
■ The AVS mesh base is not a toy. Do not
allow children to play with the bed.
■ Do not use the bed as a trampoline or
stepladder.
■ Use an AVS mesh base base in combina-
tion with an Auping mattress.
■ The AVS mesh base is not intended for use
by persons with a psychological complaint
or mental deficiency or children, unless
they have been properly instructed how to
use it and are aware of the risks.
■ Only place the bed in a dry room. In view of
the electrical components it is not permit-
ted to place the bed in a damp room.
