3.- Press [PTT] to confirm and return to the main menu, press [FUN] key to save the changes and
exit to main menu (the original setting is OFF).

7.12.- BACKLIGHT:

Press briefly the [MONI] key, and the screen and the keyboard will illuminate. After 5 seconds
without any operation in the transceiver, the light will automatically turn off.
1.- Press [FUN] key to enter the main menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys
or turn the channel knob until display the menu 12, the LCD will display
"LED 12?".
2.- Press [PTT] to enter the menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the
channel knob to select "ON" or "OFF".
3.- Press [PTT] to confirm and return to the main menu, press [FUN] key to save the changes and
exit to main menu (the original setting is ON).

7.13.- BUSY CHANNEL LOCKOUT (BCL):

Function only available in full band mode.
If the BCL function is activated, when the LED status is green and the transceiver is receiving a
signal, you can't transmit by pressing the [PTT].
1.- Press [FUN] key to enter the main menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys
or turn the channel knob until display the menu 13, the LCD will display
"BCL 13?".
2.- Press [PTT] to enter the menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the
channel knob to select "ON" or "OFF".
3.- Press [PTT] to confirm and return to the main menu, press [FUN] key to save the changes and
exit to main menu (the original setting is OFF).

7.14.- WIDE/NARROW BAND (W/N):

Function only available in full band mode.
1.- Press [FUN] key to enter the main menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the channel knob
until display the menu 14, the LCD will display "W/N 14?".
2.- Press [PTT] to enter the menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the
channel knob to select "W"or "N".
3.- Press [PTT] to confirm and return to the main menu, the narrow band is
displayed on screen with the icon, press [FUN] key to save the changes and exit to main menu
(the original setting is W)

7.15.- FM RADIO SCAN MODE:

1.- Press [FUN] key to enter the main menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the channel knob
until display the menu 15, the LCD will display "FMS 15?".
2.- Press [PTT] to enter the menu, use the [UP] / [DOWN] keys or turn the
channel knob to select "ON" (automatic scan) or "OFF"(manual scan).
3.- Press [PTT] to confirm and return to the main menu, press [FUN] key to
save the changes and exit to main menu (the original setting is ON).
