6.- OPERATION:
6.1.- POWER ON/OFF:
Switch ON the transceiver by turning the [POWER/VOL] knob
clockwise until a click heard, then the transceiver will be in standby
mode and the status LED indicator will orange flashed once and turn
OFF.
To turn OFF the transceiver, rotate the [POWER/VOL] knob full
counterclockwise.
6.2.- VOLUME ADJUST:
Rotate the [POWER/VOL] knob counterclockwise to increase
the volume and rotate anti-clockwise to decrease it.
6.3.- CHANNEL SELECTION:
Turn this control for select the channel.
6.4.- PTT:
To make a call, press and hold the [PTT] key, then speak into the microphone at
your normal voice.
Note:
- Keep your mounth 3-5 cm away from microphone distance.
6.5.- SQUELCH SETTING:
When the squelch function is OFF, you will not hear background noise; if it has been switched on,
when the sensitivity level is high, you will not receive weak signals; when the level is low, you will
receive signals easily, but you may receive other background noises.
