Storing the restraint pole

Make sure that the restraint pole is stored in such a way that it
does not constitute a trip hazard, and where it is not exposed to
any unusual mechanical, thermal and chemical loads. Store and
secure the restraint pole in a similar way to the load so that it
cannot slip, topple over or fall, even with uncontrolled driving.
• The restraint pole can be retracted/collapsed to make storage
easier. Simply press the blue knob at the top of the restraint
pole to do so.
Danger of crushing between the outer and inner tube of
the restraint pole
Minor to severe injuries can be caused when retracting the
restraint pole.
▶ Do not hold the restraint pole by the inner tube.
▶ Avoid placing your fingers at the top of the outer tube.
