* The stated residual water height is only achieved
in manual operation.

vents the return flow of the water at the end of the
pumping process.

3. ASSEMBLY
The larger the hose and hose connector
diameter, the greater the flow.
38mm (inner diameter) hose must be used
to achieve maximum flow rate.
The lower the delivery height, the greater
the flow.
The integrated backflow stop valve (10)
prevents the return flow of the water at the
end of the pumping process.
Attaching the outlet hose (Fig. A, B, C)
1. Decide which hose diameter you are going to
use. See figure B.
2. Cut off the smaller steps of the hose connector
(5) that are not needed, using a suitable knife
or saw (not included). This removes unnecessary
flow restrictions and ensures maximum pump
capacity and water flow.
3. Place the backflow stop valve (10) on the elbow
connector (3) and screw the hose connector (2)
on the outlet elbow (3) as shown in Figure C.
4. Screw the outlet elbow connector (3) into the
water outlet (4).

carry handle (1), to lower the pump into deep
water and to lift the pump back out of the wa-
ter. Never lower or lift the pump by its cable.
Never use this pump in a pond or swimming
pool while people are present in the water!
Never pull the pump by its power cord. The
pump must be carried by, and placed in the
water using the carry handle (1) or if the
water is deep, be lowered on a rope tied to
the carry handle (1).
Always have the pump switched off and the
plug removed from the power socket before
placing it in or removing it from the water.
Only switch the power back on with dry
hands.
Never run this pump dry - out of the water.
If the appliance overheats, the thermal
cut-out will switch it off. If this happens
wait 5 minutes before using the pump
again.
Automatic air bleed valve: The automatic air
bleed valve eliminates any air pockets in the
pump. During this process, air escapes
through the vent hole (6) and air bubbles
appear underwater. This is not a defect of
your pump, but serves to remove air from
the pump. It may take several seconds for
the air to escape when the pump is
immersed for the first time.
Clean the sensor switch (7) at regular
intervals, and check it for damage.
Otherwise, its function can be impaired.
four sensor switch holders (8). The switch-on
heights and switch-off heights of each position
are specified in the technical specifications.
