DESCRIPTION
The MAZ-4480 model is a multi-channel amplifier with an allocation matrix with 5 input channels and
-
4 output channels with independent volume control. 4 x 135 W max., 4 x 120 W RMS output power,
4-8 Ω speaker output and 100, 75 and 25 V high impedance lines and line level. Designed for use in
pa installations with 100v line loudspeakers or mono installations with low impedance loudspeakers
requiring different audio for each zone.

The preamp and allocation matrix count on 4 balanced mic. inputs or selectable lines, 1 auxiliary line
input and 1 tel. paging switchboard input that can be assigned to each output channel. Phantom power
supply is included with priority depending on the signal level in input 1 and tel. paging, and in input 1 on
contact closure.

It counts on LED indicators which let you see the output level in each channel, the protection circuit for
temperature and overload and forced ventilation with controllable speed depending on the temperature
inside.
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
FRONT PANEL
1.- INPUT 1 / INPUT 5: input controls:
- GAIN: to adjust the gain to make them suitable for the amplifier mixer levels. It lets you control the
signal level so that there is no distortion.
- TREBLE, BASS: treble and bass tone controls.
- MUTE: mute the input audio.
- VOL: to adjust the output level of the input sent to the allocation matrix.
- ZONE SELECT: these controls let you assign the input signal to one or various output zones.
To do this, press the buttons of the output zones (Z1, Z2, Z3 and/or Z4) on which you want the input
channel to be heard.

- VOL: headphone output volume control.
3.- LED lights for the signal level in the MONITOR output.
4.- ZONE 1 / ZONE 4: output zone controls:
- LED lights for the output signal level.
- MON: by pressing this button you can monitor the channel signal with the MONITOR and
- VOL: to adjust the output level of the zone.

5.- LED power indicator.

: headphone output to monitor the output channels assigned to MONITOR.
7.- MONITOR VOL: MONITOR output level adjustment.
8.- On/off switch.
