3. Removal of Decorative Hole Plug and
Installation of Pull Chain Bushing (Optional)
3.1
NOTE: If the ceiling fan has a speed control pull
chain, the decorative hole plug will need to be
removed from the light fixture and replaced with the
pull chain bushing (supplied).
Remove the Decorative Hole Plug by pressing both
opposing Locking Tabs on the back side of the Plug
(Figure 1).
3.2
Install the Two-Piece Pull Chain Bushing by inserting
the smaller External Threaded Bushing on the back
side of the Housing and then threading the Larger
Bushing from the front side of the Housing until finger
tight (Figure 2).
